Celebrate life, be grateful for the journey

There are moments in life that invite us to pause, look back, and give thanks. These days celebrating my birthday at Ciudad del Niño have been precisely that for me: an opportunity to reflect on the journey, appreciate the people who have shared it with me, and renew my commitment to this beautiful dream we've built together.
Celebrating here at Ciudad del Niño, surrounded by so many children, staff, friends, collaborators, and so many others who support us, has been a very special gift. Every encounter, every smile, every hug, and every shared moment reminds me how much it means to be here and how much we, in turn, receive from this community that, day after day, strives to support and help our children.
These have been years full of challenges, learning, effort, and, above all, profoundly beautiful moments. Amid the celebrations, laughter, and joy of these days, I rediscover how important it is to share life with the people we love and dedicate our efforts to a cause that transcends us.
Because at Ciudad del Niño, we are doing so many wonderful things together. Every small achievement, every opportunity we provide, every child we are able to accompany, listen to, educate, and help grow leaves a mark on their lives. And these celebrations also remind us that behind every daily effort, there are stories, emotions, and connections that make it all worthwhile.
That's why I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who makes it possible for this dream to continue: to those who work here every day, to those who collaborate in different ways, to those who accompany us, support us, believe in this project, and especially to all the children who teach us every day the true meaning of hope, joy, and the future.
Thank you for making these birthdays such special moments. Thank you for every kind gesture, every word, every smile, and for the shared joy. I leave these days with an enormous sense of gratitude and the certainty that the best moments are those we can experience and share with others.
The City of the Child continues to grow and move forward thanks to all of us. Let's continue making this dream more beautiful, more attainable, and greater each day, with the same hope, generosity, and commitment that inspired our founder, Father Antonio Berta, and that continue to light our way.
Thank you for being here, for your support, and for believing.
Let's continue building this dream together.
