La Ciudad de los Niños is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting children, adolescents, and young people in vulnerable situations in Bolivia
Since 1971, we have worked to provide children with a safe place to live, access to education, emotional support, and the possibility of growing within a family environment
Our mission is simple: to help every child feel protected, loved, and supported as they build a better future.

About us
La Ciudad de los Niños (The City of Children) is a non-profit religious foundation. It was founded by Father Antonio Berta in 1971 in the city of Cochabamba - Tiquipaya and since then has provided protection and care to thousands of vulnerable and abandoned children and adolescents in Bolivia.

Family-Style Residential Care
Children live in small homes where they are supported by educators and share daily life in a caring environment
Foster Families
A family can change the life of a child
The Foster Families Program offers young children the warmth of a family environment during a difficult time.
Instead of growing in institutional care, children can receive love, attention, and stability in a home setting while their future is being carefully supported
This program began as a pilot project in Bolivia and focuses especially on younger children, helping them experience the safety and affection that only a family can provide
